中国科学院大气物理研究所研究员,博士生导师。2003年获美国哥伦比亚大学博士(大气科学和物理海洋专业),2005年入选中国科学院“百人计划” 。
主要从事大气科学和物理海洋学的研究,涉及的主要研究领域有:气候系统模式发展研究及应用、冰雪圈与全球变化、卫星遥感在气候研究中的应用。获2012年度国家杰出青年科学基金资助。[1]
