1996-1997年6月在英国伦敦大学做博士后,1997年6月-2001年10月在美国纽约大学西奈山医学中心做博士后,任职。

2002年受聘河北医科大学特聘教授,任药理教研室教授、博士生导师,药理教研室副主任,基础医学研究所药理研究室主任。

2003-2010任药学院副院长。

2007年起任药理教研室主任。

2010年起任基础医学院院长,基础医学研究所所长。

2012年12月,任河北医科大学副校长。[2]

主持国家自然科学基金杰出青年科学基金项目、重点项目、面上项目、国际合作项目;国家973课题、国家863计划;美国国家卫生研究院(NIH)国际合作基金项目、科技部重大基础研究前期研究专项等。在国际高水平的学术杂志《Nature Cell Biology》《Neuron》《J Clin Invest》等发表SCI论文100多篇;研究成果获河北省自然科学一等奖,河北省科学技术一等奖。[3]
